CPCILECS

Overview

The CPCILECS is basically a modular in line extrusion control system. It is capable of either replacing or upgrading your existing extruder control systems on older equipment that maybe needs a makeover. The beauty of CPCILECS is that it is highly standardised, modular and methodical in its approach. This leads to cost effectiveness both in terms of manufacture and installation. Thereby slashing overhead recovery costs to a minimum. 

General

The system consists of six basic areas that can be pick and mixed according to customer requirements:

• Power input

• Extruder Control/Extruder Power

• Co-extruder Control/Co-extruder Power

• Gear Pump

• Sheet Line

• Operator Station

The overall concept is highly standardised however the individual requirements may vary a little electromechanically, physically and in electrical sizing. 

In terms of heating/cooling, pneumatics/hydraulics and process inputs customers will have varying requirements. The careful planning of voltage requirements, accessibility and I/O structure allows for standardisation and flexibility. 

All components used are readily available from many sources around the UK, Europe and indeed the world over. Documentation is full and complete and available both in hardcopy and data file format, either by request or over the web.

The whole system is glued together using TCP/IP so with a little bit extra in the operator station the system becomes easily web enabled, so SCADA is basically up to your browser on your desktop, simple.
