Functional Specification *
The Functional Specification is usually prepared by the supplier and agreed jointly by supplier and user. It details the manner in which the supplier intends to provide a system to meet the users needs as set out in the Users Requirement Specification. Once agreed by the supplier and the user, it forms part of the contractual documentation, although this approval should not be seen to relieve the supplier of his/her obligation to provide goods and services in accordance with the contract.
