Configuration Management *

Configuration management is the discipline which ensures that any proposed change to a system baseline definition or build level is prepared, accepted and controlled in accordance with set procedures. Changes to be controlled include corrections, modifications and enhancements. Configuration management applies equally to hardware, software and documentation.
